Frosene Phillips
Vice President, Director of Client Services
She cut her teeth in the media business in the early 70s when she went to work for her father who penned his entertainment/restaurant column for the Oakland Tribune for 29 years. She likes to say she had a “front-row seat” to the likes of such greats as Elvis, Sammy Davis Jr, Wayne Newton, Ella Fitzgerald, The Beatles, Jimmy Hendrix, and many more while also honing her advertising skills.
“It was a colorful and rich childhood,” shares Frosene. “It was an education that served me well when I was offered my dad’s job at the Oakland Tribune upon his passing in ’91. I appreciated the opportunity to keep the entertainment and restaurant voices alive.”
Frosene is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. When not at the file cabinet or the keyboard, she is actively involved with her Greek community and her three grandkids who have her running the bases and singing or dancing like Zorba! Opa!
